30-Day Return

If you need to return a broken or defective item purchased from ARC Services Co., you may do so in the first 30 days after purchase date.

RMAs

To return an item you have to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA). You can get an RMA number by calling ARC Services Co. Once you got a return approval for the item on the phone, you may send it back to us. The box should clearly present the RMA number. If there is no RMA number, we’ll have to reject the return.

Policies

Arc Services Co:

  • does not pay for return postage.
  • can issue you a full refund or send you a brand new item for replacement.
  • will not accept damaged items or items improperly installed by the customer. Due to possible damage from improper installation some items must be installed by a factory trained technician to qualify for returns or exchanges. Please see details below regarding those specific items.

If you ordered an item but decided that you do not need it or have ordered it by mistake, you may still return it to ARC within 30 days of the purchase date. Please first call ARC to obtain an RMA. Your item must be in a re-sellable condition in it’s original packaging. ARC will charge a 20% restocking fee for this kind of return and refund the rest of the price to you.

Restrictions

There are certain items not eligible for return to ARC under any circumstances. These include any Generic parts (parts manufactured by a third party and not made by the copier manufacturer), manuals, and software CDs. We generally do not accept returns for circuit boards, but we recommend that you call ARC if you are having a problem with one.

Imaging Units Return

First step is to call ARC to get a RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization). We need to hear from your technician as to why you are returning this unit. Perhaps, we can correct the problem over the phone. A return might require a restocking fee. After you have an RMA number and we have spoken with your technician you may start packing the imaging unit to ship it back to us. Please, wrap up and pack the imaging unit as you originally received it.

ATTENTION!

If the seal is broken or if the imaging unit gets broken, the unit is totally not acceptable as a returned item. Do not ship Imaging Units in a single box. It will damage the imaging unit. Therefore, please, double box the imaging unit along with packaging bubbles to avoid any damages. (the same as you received) Examples of Damaged Imaging Units Due to Improper Return Packaging:

Note: The lid of the developer needs to be closed and taped in order to prevent the developer from spilling. Please, make sure the lid is closed properly.
Make sure you use all of the original Styrofoam and other additional packaging materials that came with the unit.

WARNING!

We do not accept any damaged or scratched drums, or drums exposed to the sunlight, or not properly packaged Imaging Units for a return. Please pack the unit exactly the same way as you received it and ship it back.

After 30 days you must contact the manufacturer to get warranty service unless the item comes with an extended warranty from ARC.
